Hello hello! So today, as it’s blizzard-ing in New York and I thought it would be a good time to do a post about my favorite products to use during the winter. I definitely like to switch up my beauty routine for the winters here on the East Coast, compared to when I was living in California. I try to use a combination of very moisturizing products that are also natural, or more on the natural side.
Dream Cream from LUSH: My mom actually got me this for Christmas and I find that it is the perfect lotion to put on after the shower, it really locks in the moisture, isn’t sticky and has a very light scent so it’s really great for putting on before bed (or in the morning). And honestly, lets be real everything from LUSH is pretty great anyway.
Creme De Corps from Kiehls: This is one of my products that’s not on the natural side, but I really like it to moisturize my hands. I find the more natural lotions can be a little oily, which I don’t like for moisturizing my hands. I bought this to go in my bag, but I find it ends up mostly next to my bed to moisturize before I go to bed.
Heritage Store Rose and Glycerin Water: I am LITERALLY obsessed with this rose water. I use it in the morning after I wash my face, to set my makeup, in the middle of the day to refresh, and at night before I go to bed. I have actually noticed a difference in my skin since using it though, it feels much more moisturized (which is obviously a plus) and it’s so easy to use. Just spritz a few times and your whole face is moisturized.
Herbivore Hydrate Face Spray: I really have a thing for face sprays. This one is really good as well, and is more like a toner than just a refresher. I tend to use this one more before I moisturize in the morning and at night.
Little Bee Apiary Body Cream: This is actually my friends body cream that she makes from beeswax from her hives that are in Upstate New York. I’ve been using it every night before I go to bed since it has lavender and clary sage in it and it smells amazing, especially for when I’m trying to relax and go to bed.0
